Cripplegate Buildings
   South out of Fore Street at No. 11 to Hart Street (P.O. Directory).
   First mention: Horwood, 1799. Site formerly occupied by White Horse Inn and Yard.
   Cripplegate stood at the southern end of the street, and its name is commemorated in the Buildings.
