Drapers' Alley

Drapers' Alley
   West out of Woodroffe Lane, north of the Drapers' Almshouses (q.v.) (Rocque, 1746; and L. Guide, 1758). In Aldgate Ward.
   Named after the Drapers' Company, whose almshouses it adjoined.
   Site now covered by the railway lines.
