   First mention: O.S. 1875.
   Former name : "Middlesex Court" (Rocque, 1746-Elmes, 1831).
   "Middlesex House" formerly stood on the site, described by Strype as an old large building, inclosed within a wall (Strype, ed. 1720, I. iii. 284).
