Red Lion Court, Minories
   East out of Minories, west of Morley's Court (P.C. 1732-O.S. 25 in. 1880). In Portsoken Ward.
   On the boundary of the Ward (Strype, ed. 1720, I. ii. 26).
   Former names : " Red Lyon Alley," 1658 (Midd. Sess. Rolls, III. 273-Rocque, 1746). "Red Lion Alley" (Hatton, 1708-Strype, 1720).
   It is differently planned in the earlier maps, running east and west, instead of north and south as in the O.S.
   Site is now covered by Railway goods' depäts.
