   2) South out of Chick Lane and west to Hide's Rents, in Farringdon Ward Without (O. and M. 1677-Strype, 1755).
   In O. and M. there is no passage into Hide's Rents. There were steps leading up into the Court.
   The site is now covered by the Smithfield Markets.
   3) East out of Friday Street at No.54 (P.O. Directory). In Bread Street Ward.
   First mention: O. and M. 1677. "Blew Bore Court" in Strype.
   In 24 Eliz. 1581, a messuage in Friday Street is described as late called the signe of the "Blewe Boore" and now called the "Bolte and Tunne" (Lond. I. p.m. III. 54).
   Called the Bolt and Tun, 1638-9 (L. and P. Chas. I. 1638-9, p. 370).
   Named after the sign.
   4) In Cannon Street (Strype, ed. 1755-Boyle, 1799).
   Not named in the maps.
