Blue Bore Inn
   North out of Aldgate High Street at No.30 (O. and M. 1677-O.S. 1848-51). In Portsoken Ward.
   "Blue Boar Inn" without Aldgate mentioned temp. Jas. I. (Chanc. Proc.).
   In Horwood's map, 1799, it is called the "Boar Inn."
   No. 30 is now occupied by the British Shoe Co. and the old inn and yard no longer exist.
